~~~ Demure ~~~
~ Demure ~
Apple mists bear winter’s blow,
Chic windswept fringe, whorled moue, aglow;
Thy pixie queen in princess clothes,
Swathed innocence, of my Tudor rose.
Lush coronet, of garland grace,
Bestows enobled, auric face;
Braided leaves crest brow, nix sorrel,
Wreathed Goldilocks, dons chaplet laurel.
Cupid’s revenant faerie sprite,
Accompany thee through rebel night;
Charred moonlit boughs of silvery birch,
Reign down, afore thine hallowed church.
Toffee lips of pyrrhous red,
Hushed doors bond words of love unsaid;
Yoicks, caesious eyne sheaths heart, enfolding,
Enthrones guised sanctuary of thy beholding.
